Description
A refreshing tropical smoothie combining sweet pineapple, creamy banana, and protein with a hint of earthy turmeric for a nourishing and energizing drink.
Ingredients
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- Add pineapple, banana, protein powder, milk, yogurt, turmeric, and ginger to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add ice cubes and blend again until desired thickness is reached.
- Taste and add honey or maple syrup if additional sweetness is desired.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use frozen pineapple or banana for a thicker smoothie.
- Vanilla protein powder adds extra flavor.
- Add spinach for extra nutrients without altering taste much.
- Chia or flax seeds can be added for more fiber.
- Best consumed fresh but can be stored up to 24 hours in the fridge.
