Description

Lemon Oreo Truffles are creamy, citrusy no-bake treats made with crushed lemon cookies, cream cheese, and a smooth white chocolate coating. These refreshing bite-sized desserts are easy to prepare and perfect for parties, holidays, or sweet snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Lemon Oreo cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces white chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Crush the Lemon Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor.
  2. Transfer the cookie crumbs to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth and fully combined.
  4. Stir in the lemon zest for extra citrus flavor.
  5. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  6. Refrigerate the truffle balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
  7. Melt the white chocolate with the coconut oil until smooth.
  8. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate and place them back onto the tray.
  9. Decorate with extra lemon zest or crushed cookie crumbs before the coating hardens.
  10. Chill the truffles again until the chocolate coating is fully set.

Notes

  • Dark or milk chocolate can replace white chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • Extra lemon extract creates a brighter citrus taste.
  • Roll truffles in crushed cookies, coconut, or sprinkles for additional texture.
  • If Lemon Oreos are unavailable, golden sandwich cookies work well.
  • Keep the truffles refrigerated for the best texture and freshness.
