Ingredients
- 1 package Lemon Oreo cookies
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 12 ounces white chocolate
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
Instructions
- Crush the Lemon Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor.
- Transfer the cookie crumbs to a large mixing bowl.
- Add the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth and fully combined.
- Stir in the lemon zest for extra citrus flavor.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
- Refrigerate the truffle balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the white chocolate with the coconut oil until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate and place them back onto the tray.
- Decorate with extra lemon zest or crushed cookie crumbs before the coating hardens.
- Chill the truffles again until the chocolate coating is fully set.
Notes
- Dark or milk chocolate can replace white chocolate for a richer flavor.
- Extra lemon extract creates a brighter citrus taste.
- Roll truffles in crushed cookies, coconut, or sprinkles for additional texture.
- If Lemon Oreos are unavailable, golden sandwich cookies work well.
- Keep the truffles refrigerated for the best texture and freshness.
