Description

A refreshing and naturally sweet Kiwi Sorbet made with fresh kiwis, honey or maple syrup, and a hint of mint. This easy-to-make frozen treat requires minimal ingredients and preparation time, perfect for a light dessert or a healthy snack.

Ingredients

Fruit

  • 5 kiwis, peeled and diced

Sweetener

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

Herbs

  • 2 tablespoons chopped mint

Instructions

  1. Prepare the kiwis: Peel the skin off the kiwis and chop them into 1/2 inch chunks. Place the diced kiwi in a freezer-safe bag or container to prevent freezer burn and maintain freshness.
  2. Freeze the kiwi: Place the container with diced kiwi in the freezer and freeze for at least 3 hours until the kiwi pieces are completely solid.
  3. Blend the sorbet: Transfer the frozen kiwi chunks to a food processor or blender. Add the honey or maple syrup as a natural sweetener and the chopped mint for a fresh flavor. Blend for at least 2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Serve immediately: Scoop the freshly blended kiwi sorbet into bowls and serve right away for the best texture and taste.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, blend longer or add a splash of cold water or citrus juice.
  • You can substitute honey with maple syrup to make it vegan-friendly.
  • Add a squeeze of lime juice for a tangy twist.
  • Store leftover sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 week.
