Ingredients
Trout Fillets:
- 1.5 pounds trout or salmon, or arctic char – 2 large fish fillets with skin on the bottom
Seasoning:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning (dried thyme, oregano, parsley, combined together)
- ¼ teaspoon salt to taste
Garlic Lemon Butter Herb Sauce:
- 4 garlic cloves, diced
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 2 tablespoons white wine
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the Fish: Season the top of fish fillets with Italian herb seasoning and salt.
- Cook the Fish: Cook the fish fillets in a skillet until browned on both sides.
- Prepare the Sauce: Create a garlic lemon butter herb sauce in the same skillet.
- Serve: Plate the fish and spoon the sauce over it. Top with chopped parsley and serve.
