Description
A light, no-bake strawberry tiramisu made with fresh strawberries, creamy mascarpone, and soft ladyfingers for a refreshing, elegant dessert perfect for warm weather.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 package (7 oz) ladyfinger cookies
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Wash and slice the strawberries. Place them in a bowl with granulated sugar and lemon juice and let sit for about 15 minutes to release juices.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until light and creamy.
- Briefly dip the ladyfingers into the strawberry juices, being careful not to soak them.
- Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
- Spread a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers, then add a layer of sliced strawberries.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cream and strawberries on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Do not oversoak the ladyfingers to keep layers structured.
- The dessert tastes even better after resting overnight.
- Adjust sugar depending on the sweetness of the strawberries.
