Description
Strawberry Mojito is a fresh and fruity twist on the classic mojito, blending ripe strawberries, mint, lime, and soda for a light, refreshing drink perfect for summer. Optional white rum adds a festive kick.
Ingredients
- 3–4 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 6–8 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
- 1–2 teaspoons granulated sugar or 1 tablespoon simple syrup
- 2 oz white rum (optional)
- 1/2 cup club soda or sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Optional: extra mint sprigs, lime slices, or strawberry halves for garnish
Instructions
- Add strawberries, mint leaves, lime wedges, and sugar (or simple syrup) to a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker.
- Gently muddle to release the juices, avoiding over-crushing the mint.
- If using rum, pour it in and stir or shake well.
- Strain into a tall glass filled with ice, or pour the entire mixture into the glass.
- Top with club soda and stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with mint, lime, or strawberries as desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use frozen strawberries if fresh are not available—just thaw slightly first.
- White rum is traditional, but flavored rums can add fun twists.
- Make it non-alcoholic by skipping the rum—it’s still refreshing.
- Muddle gently to avoid bitter mint flavors.
- Make a pitcher version by scaling up the ingredients and adding soda just before serving.
