Description

A rich and indulgent banana bread swirled with creamy peanut butter and loaded with chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups—perfect for dessert, snacks, or an extra-special breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 3 overripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Stir dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined—do not overmix.
  5. Fold in most of the chopped Reese’s and swirl in the peanut butter.
  6. Pour the batter into the loaf pan, topping with remaining Reese’s and chocolate chips if using.
  7. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Add chopped peanuts for extra crunch or swirl Nutella for a chocolate twist.
  • Bake in muffin tins for 20–25 minutes at 350°F for a portable version.
  • Wrap tightly to keep the bread moist and fresh longer.
