Ingredients
- For the bars:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- For the glaze:
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Spread dough evenly into prepared pan and bake for 22–26 minutes, until edges are set and center looks soft but not jiggly.
- For glaze: melt peanut butter and butter together. Stir in milk and vanilla, then mix in powdered sugar until smooth.
- Pour warm glaze over hot bars and spread evenly.
- Let bars cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.

- Top glaze with sprinkles or crushed peanuts while still warm.
