Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh or frozen peaches, sliced
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Add the sliced peaches and banana to a blender.
- Add the Greek yogurt and milk to create a creamy base.
- If desired, add honey or maple syrup for additional sweetness and vanilla extract for extra flavor.
- Add the ice cubes to the blender.
- Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk and blend again until the desired consistency is reached.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
- Frozen peaches can be used instead of fresh and will create a thicker, colder smoothie.
- Add a handful of spinach for extra nutrients without greatly affecting the flavor.
- Rolled oats can be blended in to make the smoothie more filling.
- For a tropical twist, add small amounts of mango or pineapple.
- If storing, shake or blend again before drinking as separation may occur.
