Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil (for cooking)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Steam or blanch broccoli for 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender, then set aside.
- Whisk soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, cornstarch, and water in a bowl to make the sauce.
- Heat oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
- Pour sauce into the skillet and stir until it thickens and becomes glossy, about 2–3 minutes.
- Add broccoli to the pan and toss everything to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

- Add bell peppers or snap peas for extra vegetables.
- Use tofu instead of chicken for a vegetarian version.
- Mix in chili garlic sauce or sriracha for added spice.
