Description

A refreshing, naturally sweet juice made from fresh oranges and carrots, perfect for a healthy energy boost. This vibrant drink is full of vitamin C and beta-carotene, and can be made with a juicer or blender.

Ingredients

  • 45 fresh oranges, peeled
  • 34 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup water (if using blender)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon lemon juice or 1/2 inch fresh ginger
  • Optional: 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel, and chop the oranges and carrots.
  2. For juicer method: Run carrots and oranges through a juicer. Stir, taste, and optionally add lemon juice or ginger.
  3. For blender method: Blend chopped carrots and orange segments with water until smooth. Strain through mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl.
  4. Press out juice, discard pulp, and chill before serving.
  5. Serve over ice or as is. Shake before serving if stored.

Notes

  • Use juicy, sweet oranges like navel or Valencia for best flavor.
  • Add ginger, lemon juice, or honey for extra flavor and sweetness.
  • Juice can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Use a blender if you don’t have a juicer—just strain afterward.
