- 2–4 tbsp honey or sugar (to taste)
- Ice
- Optional: fresh mint leaves, mango slices, lemon wheels for garnish
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water and steep tea bags for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
- Blend chopped mangoes with a bit of water until smooth to make a mango puree.
- Optional: Strain the mango puree through a fine sieve for a smoother texture.
- Pour mango puree into a large pitcher and stir in cooled tea, lemon juice, and sweetener. Adjust to taste.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with mint, lemon, or mango slices if desired.
Notes
- Add sparkling water or club soda for a fizzy variation.
- Use agave or maple syrup instead of honey for a vegan version.
- Infuse tea with cinnamon or ginger for a spiced twist.
- Can substitute fresh mango with bottled mango juice—adjust sweetness accordingly.
