Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) Brie cheese wheel
- 2 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the Brie wheel in a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the sliced apples and cook until softened and lightly caramelized.
- Stir in the brown sugar or honey, thyme leaves, salt, and black pepper. Cook until glossy and fragrant.
- Spoon the warm apple mixture over the Brie.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the Brie is soft and melty in the center.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes

- Firm apples like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith work best.
- Caramelized apples can be made ahead of time.
- Serve with crackers, sliced bread, or fresh fruit.
