Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp mustard or ketchup (optional)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or 8 small cubes of American cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped pickles (optional)
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and mustard or ketchup if using. Let cool slightly.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place 1 tbsp beef mixture and cheese in the center of each circle. Add pickles if desired.
- Fold dough over filling and pinch edges to seal. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
- Mix melted butter with garlic. Brush over biscuit bombs and sprinkle with parmesan.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm with dipping sauces.
Notes
- Use ground turkey or chicken as a leaner alternative.
- Add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy version.
- Mix cheese types for a different flavor blend.
- Assemble ahead and bake when ready to serve.
- Best reheated in the oven for a crispy texture.
