Description

Garlic Butter Surf & Turf Steaks combine juicy steak and succulent shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce, creating a luxurious and flavorful dish perfect for special occasions or a fancy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye, filet mignon, or sirloin steaks
  • 810 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side depending on thickness and preferred doneness. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. Return steaks to the skillet and spoon garlic butter over both steaks and shrimp.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and a splash of lemon juice, if using. Serve immediately.
