Description

Garlic Butter Beef Bites & Potatoes is a quick, hearty, and flavorful skillet dinner. Juicy seared beef bites, golden potatoes, and a rich garlic butter sauce come together in under 45 minutes for a meal that feels indulgent yet simple to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin or steak tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil or microwave baby potatoes until just fork-tender, then drain and pat dry.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season beef bites with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Sear beef in the skillet until browned on all sides, about 3–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Add the cooked potatoes to the skillet and let them brown in the garlic butter, stirring occasionally.
  7. Return beef bites to the skillet and toss everything together until evenly coated and heated through.
  8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use a cast-iron skillet for the best sear and flavor.
  • Pre-cooking the potatoes ensures a perfect tender-crisp texture.
  • Customize with vegetables like mushrooms, bell peppers, or green beans.
  • For extra flavor, add smoked paprika or red pepper flakes.
  • Leftovers reheat best in a skillet to keep the potatoes crispy.
