Description
Fried S’mores are a crispy, golden twist on the classic campfire treat. Gooey marshmallows and melted chocolate are sandwiched between graham crackers, wrapped in dough, and fried to perfection. This indulgent dessert is like a fairground favorite that takes s’mores to the next level.
Ingredients
- Graham crackers
- Chocolate squares or chocolate chips
- Marshmallows (regular or mini)
- Refrigerated biscuit dough or crescent roll dough
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
- Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
- Optional: chocolate sauce or marshmallow fluff for dipping
Instructions
- Break graham crackers into small squares. Place chocolate and a marshmallow on half of them, then top with another graham cracker to form mini sandwiches.
- Roll out biscuit or crescent dough and cut into squares large enough to wrap each s’more.
- Wrap each s’more sandwich in dough, sealing edges tightly.
- Heat oil to 350°F. Fry wrapped s’mores in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar.
- Serve warm with chocolate sauce or marshmallow dip.
Notes
- Try swapping chocolate with peanut butter cups, caramel-filled chocolate, or Nutella for fun variations.
- If you prefer baking, cook at 375°F for 12–15 minutes instead of frying.
- Seal the dough edges well to prevent leaking while frying.
