Description

Fried S’mores are a crispy, golden twist on the classic campfire treat. Gooey marshmallows and melted chocolate are sandwiched between graham crackers, wrapped in dough, and fried to perfection. This indulgent dessert is like a fairground favorite that takes s’mores to the next level.

Ingredients

  • Graham crackers
  • Chocolate squares or chocolate chips
  • Marshmallows (regular or mini)
  • Refrigerated biscuit dough or crescent roll dough
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
  • Optional: chocolate sauce or marshmallow fluff for dipping

Instructions

  1. Break graham crackers into small squares. Place chocolate and a marshmallow on half of them, then top with another graham cracker to form mini sandwiches.
  2. Roll out biscuit or crescent dough and cut into squares large enough to wrap each s’more.
  3. Wrap each s’more sandwich in dough, sealing edges tightly.
  4. Heat oil to 350°F. Fry wrapped s’mores in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar.
  6. Serve warm with chocolate sauce or marshmallow dip.

Notes

  • Try swapping chocolate with peanut butter cups, caramel-filled chocolate, or Nutella for fun variations.
  • If you prefer baking, cook at 375°F for 12–15 minutes instead of frying.
  • Seal the dough edges well to prevent leaking while frying.
