Ingredients
- 2 flatbreads or naan
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (plus extra for spreading)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- Optional: 1 jalapeño, sliced
- Optional: 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and place flatbreads on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix cooked chicken with barbecue sauce until evenly coated.
- Brush flatbreads lightly with olive oil and spread a thin layer of barbecue sauce over each.
- Distribute the BBQ chicken evenly over the flatbreads.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and sliced red onion.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and edges are crisp.
- Remove from oven and add optional toppings like cilantro, jalapeños, or extra cheese.
- Slice and serve warm.
