Ingredients
- 1 English cucumber (sliced into ½-inch rounds)
- 4 oz smoked salmon (thin slices, cut to fit cucumber rounds)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh dill or chives, chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: capers, red onion, lemon zest, everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Slice cucumber into ½-inch thick rounds and pat dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese with sour cream or Greek yogurt until smooth.
- Stir in lemon juice, dill or chives, salt, and black pepper.
- Pipe or spread a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber round.
- Top each with a piece of smoked salmon, folding gently for height and texture.
- Garnish with extra herbs, capers, or desired toppings before serving.
Notes
- Best served fresh, but can be prepped 1 hour ahead and refrigerated.
