Description

Crockpot Steak Bites are tender, slow-cooked chunks of steak simmered in a garlic-herb sauce—perfect for an effortless, flavorful meal that pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.


Ingredients

  • 1.52 lbs steak (sirloin, chuck, or flank), cut into 1–2″ cubes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 34 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for browning)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or mix of dried thyme, rosemary, oregano
  • Optional: 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
  2. (Optional) Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high and sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes until browned.
  3. Transfer steak to crockpot.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, additional garlic, and herbs. Pour over steak in crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours until tender.
  6. (Optional) To thicken sauce, stir in cornstarch slurry and cook uncovered on high for 10–15 minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.

  • Add mushrooms or onions for extra flavor.
  • Swap broth for red wine for richness.
  • Include balsamic vinegar for tanginess.
