Crockpot Steak Bites are tender, slow-cooked chunks of steak simmered in a garlic-herb sauce—perfect for an effortless, flavorful meal that pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
Ingredients
- 1.5–2 lbs steak (sirloin, chuck, or flank), cut into 1–2″ cubes
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for browning)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning or mix of dried thyme, rosemary, oregano
- Optional: 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
- (Optional) Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high and sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes until browned.
- Transfer steak to crockpot.
- In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, additional garlic, and herbs. Pour over steak in crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours until tender.
- (Optional) To thicken sauce, stir in cornstarch slurry and cook uncovered on high for 10–15 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
