Ingredients
- 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese, drained
- 1 egg

- 2 green onions or chives, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions
- Drain excess moisture from the cottage cheese using a fine mesh strainer or paper towels.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg, flour or breadcrumbs, cheese (if using), green onions, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Mix until a sticky dough forms. Add more flour or breadcrumbs if too wet.
- Form mixture into 10–12 small patties and place on a plate.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry patties for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Serve hot with dipping sauce, sour cream, or lemon.
