Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Brush the chicken with olive oil and coat lightly with breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the chicken on the tray in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  6. In a bowl, mix honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and chili flakes to make the sauce.
  7. Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon the sauce evenly over each piece.
  8. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top.
  9. Return to the oven for 5 minutes until the feta softens slightly.
  10. Serve warm.
