Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts or thighs
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Brush the chicken with olive oil and coat lightly with breadcrumbs.
- Place the chicken on the tray in a single layer.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- In a bowl, mix honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and chili flakes to make the sauce.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon the sauce evenly over each piece.
- Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top.
- Return to the oven for 5 minutes until the feta softens slightly.
- Serve warm.
