Description
Crispy Air Fryer Cauliflower is a fast, healthy, and flavorful snack or side dish made by air-frying seasoned cauliflower florets until golden and crunchy. It’s versatile, customizable, and perfect for a light and satisfying bite.
Ingredients
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional toppings: 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, chili flakes, lemon juice, dipping sauce of choice
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets with oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Place cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden on the edges.
- Serve hot, optionally topped with Parmesan cheese, chili flakes, or a squeeze of lemon juice. Pair with your favorite dipping sauce if desired.
Notes
- For extra crunch, coat cauliflower in panko breadcrumbs before air frying.
- Add buffalo sauce post-cooking for a spicy version.
- Nutritional yeast adds a cheesy flavor for a vegan twist.
- Frozen cauliflower can be used if thawed and dried thoroughly.
