Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter (plus 1 tablespoon for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until sauce is creamy and slightly thickened.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
