Creamy Garlic Chicken & Golden Potatoes Tray is an easy one-pan meal featuring juicy chicken cooked with golden potatoes in a rich garlic-Parmesan cream sauce. It’s comforting, flavorful, and minimal fuss—perfect for a satisfying family dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1.5 lbs baby or Yukon gold potatoes, halved or quartered
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly grease it.
- Toss potatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and half the herbs; spread on one side of the tray.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and remaining herbs; place next to potatoes.
- Roast for 25 minutes, flipping potatoes halfway through.
- Meanwhile, simmer cream, chicken broth, garlic, and Parmesan in a small saucepan until slightly thickened.
- Pour sauce over chicken and potatoes, then return to oven for 10–15 minutes until everything is cooked and bubbling.
- Garnish with parsley and spoon extra sauce over the potatoes before serving.

- Add green beans or broccoli for a full sheet-pan meal.
- Use bone-in thighs for more flavor—adjust cooking time accordingly.
- Stir in mozzarella for extra cheesy sauce.
