Description

Creamy Cajun Chicken Linguine is a bold, comforting pasta dish with tender chicken seasoned in smoky Cajun spices, tossed in a rich, creamy Parmesan sauce and served over al dente linguine.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook linguine until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until fully cooked. Set aside and slice.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese and simmer another 2–3 minutes until creamy. Adjust seasoning and add red pepper flakes if desired.
  7. Add cooked linguine and toss to coat. Loosen sauce with pasta water if needed.
  8. Return sliced chicken to the skillet, toss, and heat through.
  9. Serve in bowls, garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan.

Notes

  • Substitute chicken with shrimp for a seafood twist.
  • Increase Cajun seasoning or add hot sauce for more heat.
  • Add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for variety.
  • For extra creaminess, stir in cream cheese or reduce broth.
