Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped (optional)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika or regular paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: pinch of cayenne or dash of hot sauce for extra heat
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
- Stir in the minced garlic and let it sizzle gently for about 30 seconds, without browning.
- Remove the pan from heat and whisk in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir in chopped parsley and thyme or rosemary if using.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve warm as a dip or drizzle over meats or vegetables.
