Description

Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars combine the gooey cinnamon-sugar goodness of classic cinnamon rolls with the simplicity of a soft, chewy dessert bar—finished with a luscious cream cheese glaze for the perfect sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • For the bars:
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • For the cinnamon swirl:
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • For the glaze:
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon swirl ingredients and set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, cream butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Mix in eggs and vanilla, then stir in milk until smooth.
  6. Fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
  7. Spread half the batter into the prepared pan. Drizzle half the cinnamon swirl over the top.
  8. Spread remaining batter, then drizzle remaining swirl and swirl with a knife.
  9. Bake 25–30 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. While cooling, whisk together glaze ingredients until smooth.
  11. Drizzle glaze over slightly cooled bars. Slice and serve warm or chilled.

Notes

  • Add chopped pecans or walnuts to the swirl for crunch.
  • Use maple extract in glaze for a fall-inspired twist.
  • Mix in white chocolate chips for added sweetness.
  • Bars can be frozen—wrap individually and thaw before serving.
  • Double the recipe for a 9×13-inch pan and increase bake time by 5–10 minutes.
