Description

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Brownies combine rich, fudgy brownies with juicy, chocolate-dipped strawberries for an indulgent dessert that’s as elegant as it is irresistible.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 oz bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 912 fresh strawberries
  • 4 oz additional chocolate (white or dark) for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8″ baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate in a bowl until smooth. Whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until glossy.
  3. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold until just combined.
  4. Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly fudgy. Cool completely in pan.
  5. Wash and thoroughly dry strawberries.
  6. Melt additional chocolate for dipping. Dip each strawberry, let excess drip, and place on parchment to set.
  7. Top cooled brownies with dipped strawberries, pressing gently to adhere. Let set fully before slicing.
