Description

Cheesy pickle bombs explosion is a crave-worthy snack featuring tangy pickles and gooey cheese wrapped in golden dough. Perfectly crispy and loaded with bold flavor, they’re an irresistible bite-sized treat for parties, game day, or anytime snacking.

Ingredients

  • 810 dill pickle spears or thick slices, patted dry
  • 4 cheese sticks (mozzarella or cheddar), cut into chunks
  • 1 can crescent roll dough or biscuit dough
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes, ranch seasoning, or everything bagel seasoning
  • Optional: dipping sauces like ranch, spicy mayo, or honey mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut pickles and cheese into pieces that fit together.
  3. Roll out dough and cut into squares large enough to wrap each pickle-cheese combo.
  4. Place a pickle and cheese chunk in each dough square and wrap tightly, pinching seams to seal.
  5. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and optional seasonings.
  6. Bake on parchment-lined sheet for 12–15 minutes or air fry for 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use low-moisture cheese to prevent leaks.
  • Try puff pastry for a flakier result or breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • Add jalapeños or hot pickles for spice.
  • Assemble ahead and store in fridge up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Fry for 2–3 minutes per side if you want an even crispier version.
