Description

Cheesy Garlic Parmesan Spaghetti is a creamy, garlicky pasta dish tossed with Parmesan, mozzarella, and buttery garlic sauce. Rich, comforting, and ready in 30 minutes, it’s the perfect weeknight indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente (8–10 minutes). Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  3. Lower heat and stir in Parmesan and mozzarella. Gradually add reserved pasta water, stirring until a smooth sauce forms.
  4. Add spaghetti to skillet and toss until fully coated. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Serve topped with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Add cream cheese or heavy cream for a richer sauce.
  • Stir in mushrooms, spinach, or grilled chicken for variety.
