Description
Cheesy Garlic Butter Rollups are gooey, garlicky, pull-apart snacks made with crescent or pizza dough, mozzarella, and buttery herb topping—perfect as a party appetizer or comforting side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly grease a baking dish.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- Brush half the garlic butter on the dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over dough.
- Roll up from the long side to form a log, then slice into 1 to 1½-inch pieces.
- Arrange cut-side up on baking sheet or dish. Brush tops with remaining garlic butter.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm with optional marinara or ranch dipping sauce.
Notes
- Layer pepperoni or ham for a pizza-style variation.
- Swap mozzarella with provolone, cheddar, or pepper jack for different flavor.
- Use a muffin tin to help maintain shape during baking.
- Make ahead and refrigerate unbaked for up to 12 hours.
- Freeze baked rollups and reheat in oven at 350°F for 10–12 minutes.
