Description

Cheesy Bread is a quick, low-carb, gluten-free snack or side dish made with mozzarella, parmesan, and egg. It’s deliciously savory and can double as a keto-friendly pizza crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Italian seasoning, to taste
  • Nonstick spray (like Pam)
  • Parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix mozzarella, parmesan, and egg until well combined.
  3. Add garlic powder and Italian seasoning to taste and stir.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray lightly with nonstick spray.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture into a thin, even rectangle or circle on the parchment.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges begin to brown.
  7. Switch oven to broil and cook for 1 more minute until top is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • Use at least 50% mozzarella for meltability if substituting cheeses.
  • Add crushed red pepper or basil for flavor variations.
  • Can be used as a pizza crust — bake, then top and bake again.
  • Highly recommend using parchment to prevent sticking.
  • Best texture when reheated in oven or toaster.
