Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie recommended)
- 1 (10 oz) bag nacho cheese Doritos, lightly crushed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles (like Rotel), drained
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion (optional)
- Chopped green onions or cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded chicken, drained tomatoes, taco seasoning, onion, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Spread a layer of crushed Doritos over the bottom of the baking dish.
- Spoon the chicken mixture evenly over the chips.
- Top with more crushed Doritos and the remaining cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly, and cheese is melted and golden.
- Let rest for a few minutes, then garnish with green onions or cilantro before serving.
