A cozy, sweet dump cake combining caramel, apple pie filling, and cinnamon rolls baked together into a warm, gooey dessert with a bakery-quality taste.
Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread half in the bottom of the dish.
- Spoon apple pie filling evenly over the cinnamon roll layer.
- Drizzle caramel sauce generously over the filling and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
- Layer the remaining cinnamon roll pieces on top, then drizzle with more caramel sauce.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts if using.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until cinnamon rolls are golden and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and drizzle the included icing over the top before serving.
Notes
- Add apple pie spice to the filling for extra warmth.
- Swap apple pie filling for pumpkin pie filling for a fall twist.
- Try chocolate sauce instead of caramel for a chocolate-caramel-apple flavor.
- Use homemade cinnamon rolls, adjusting baking time as needed.
- Sauté fresh apples with sugar and cinnamon if you prefer fresh over canned filling.
