Ingredients
- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rigatoni until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak tips until browned and cooked to preferred doneness. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Return cooked pasta and steak tips to the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use penne or fusilli if rigatoni isn’t available.
- Add cream cheese or swap some Parmesan for Asiago for a richer sauce.
- Stir in crispy bacon or sautéed mushrooms for added depth.
- Reduce Cajun seasoning for a milder flavor.
- Reheat gently with a splash of cream or milk to maintain sauce texture.
