Ingredients
- 9 cups Rice or corn Chex cereal
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
- 3 Butterfinger candy bars, crushed (plus extra for topping)
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Place the Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips together in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Stir in the crushed Butterfingers until evenly combined.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the Chex cereal and gently fold everything together until fully coated.
- Transfer the coated cereal into a large zip-top bag or container with a lid. Add powdered sugar and shake until the cereal is fully coated and no longer sticky.
- Spread the mix out on a baking sheet to cool completely, then top with extra crushed Butterfingers for more candy crunch, if desired.
