Description

Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza combines classic Southern comfort with cheesy breakfast indulgence. It features a biscuit crust topped with creamy sausage gravy, optional scrambled eggs, and melty cheddar for a hearty morning crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (more to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: 4 scrambled eggs
  • Optional toppings: chopped green onions, crumbled bacon, hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
  2. Separate biscuit dough and press into a crust on the pan. Flatten into desired shape and pinch edges.
  3. Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden. Set aside.
  4. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Do not drain unless excessive grease.
  5. Sprinkle flour over sausage and stir. Cook for 1 minute.
  6. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened (3–5 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Spread gravy over biscuit crust. Top with scrambled eggs if using.
  8. Sprinkle cheese over the top and bake for 10–12 minutes until melted and bubbly.
  9. Top with optional garnishes and serve warm.
