Ingredients
- All-purpose flour

- Granulated sugar or brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or square baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix applesauce, sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.

- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
