Description

Apple orange juice is a refreshing, naturally sweet beverage made from fresh apples and oranges. It’s crisp, slightly tart, and packed with vitamins—perfect for a morning boost or a cool afternoon refreshment.

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples (Fuji, Gala, or Honeycrisp), cored and chopped
  • 2 large oranges (Valencia or navel), peeled and seeded
  • 1/2 cup water (optional, for blending)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for serving)
  • Optional: 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger or 1 tsp lemon juice for added brightness

Instructions

  1. Using a juicer:
    • Wash and core apples; peel oranges and remove seeds.
    • Juice apple and orange pieces using a juicer.
    • Stir well and serve immediately over ice if desired.
  2. Using a blender:
    • Chop apples and peel oranges, removing seeds and membranes.
    • Blend with 1/2 cup water until smooth.
    • Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
    • Serve chilled or over ice.

Notes

  • No need to peel apples if using a juicer—just wash them well.
  • Add spinach or kale for a green juice variation.
  • Pineapple or carrot can enhance sweetness and nutrition.
  • Add cinnamon or ginger for a spiced version.
  • Shake or stir juice before serving due to natural separation.
