Apple Ginger Juice is a refreshing, naturally sweet and slightly spicy drink made with fresh apples, ginger, and a splash of lemon juice. It’s energizing, hydrating, and easy to make with either a juicer or blender.
Ingredients
- 3–4 fresh apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith work well)
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
- 1–2 tsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
- 1/4 cup water (if using a blender)
- Ice cubes (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- If using a juicer:
- Wash, core, and chop the apples.
- Peel the ginger.
- Run the apple and ginger pieces through the juicer.
- Stir in lemon juice if using.
- Serve chilled or over ice.
- If using a blender:
- Chop the apples and ginger and add to a blender with water.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher.
- Stir in lemon juice if desired and serve over ice.
Notes
- Add cinnamon or turmeric for extra flavor and warmth.
- Include mint, cucumber, or celery for a more hydrating and cooling juice.
- Sweeten with a bit of honey or orange juice if desired.
