Description

Air Fryer Sweet Chili Chicken and Brussels Sprouts is a quick, bold-flavored dinner featuring juicy chicken, crispy Brussels sprouts, and a sweet-spicy glaze. It comes together in under 30 minutes for a healthy, satisfying meal with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into chunks
  • 12 oz Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • Optional: sesame seeds, sliced green onions, lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  2. Toss Brussels sprouts with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place in air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, shaking halfway.
  3. Meanwhile, season chicken with salt and pepper and toss with 1 tbsp olive oil.
  4. Add chicken to basket with sprouts after 10 minutes. Cook another 10–12 minutes, shaking occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and sprouts are golden.
  5. Remove basket, toss chicken and sprouts with sweet chili sauce and soy sauce, then return to air fryer for 2–3 minutes to caramelize.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds, green onions, and lime wedges if desired.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
  • Swap Brussels sprouts with cauliflower for variety.
  • Add bell peppers or onions for more veggies.
  • Mix sriracha into the sauce for extra heat.
  • Serve over rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice for a full meal.
