Description
Air fryer quesadillas are quick, crispy, and endlessly customizable—perfect for a fast lunch, dinner, or snack with gooey melted cheese and toppings, all made in the air fryer without mess or extra oil.
Ingredients
- 2 flour tortillas (8-inch or taco-size)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, mozzarella, or blend)
- Optional fillings: 1/2 cup cooked chicken, black beans, sautéed peppers/onions/jalapeños, corn, or spinach
- Cooking spray or 1 tsp oil for brushing
- Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole, hot sauce
Instructions
- Lay one tortilla flat and sprinkle cheese and desired fillings over half.
- Fold tortilla in half into a half-moon and press gently.
- Lightly spray or brush both sides with oil.
- Place quesadilla in the air fryer basket (cut in half if needed).
- Air fry at 375°F for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve with toppings.
Notes
- Use whole wheat or low-carb tortillas for variation.
- Add pulled pork, steak, or scrambled eggs for a heartier version.
- Make dessert quesadillas with Nutella and banana, or cinnamon sugar and cream cheese.
- Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes to restore crispiness.
