Description

Air fryer quesadillas are quick, crispy, and endlessly customizable—perfect for a fast lunch, dinner, or snack with gooey melted cheese and toppings, all made in the air fryer without mess or extra oil.


Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas (8-inch or taco-size)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, mozzarella, or blend)
  • Optional fillings: 1/2 cup cooked chicken, black beans, sautéed peppers/onions/jalapeños, corn, or spinach
  • Cooking spray or 1 tsp oil for brushing
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole, hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Lay one tortilla flat and sprinkle cheese and desired fillings over half.
  2. Fold tortilla in half into a half-moon and press gently.
  3. Lightly spray or brush both sides with oil.
  4. Place quesadilla in the air fryer basket (cut in half if needed).
  5. Air fry at 375°F for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve with toppings.

Notes

  • Use whole wheat or low-carb tortillas for variation.
  • Add pulled pork, steak, or scrambled eggs for a heartier version.
  • Make dessert quesadillas with Nutella and banana, or cinnamon sugar and cream cheese.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes to restore crispiness.
