Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (white, sourdough, whole wheat, or your choice)
- 1–2 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, mozzarella, etc.)
- Optional: tomato slices, bacon, ham, or mustard
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place cheese between two bread slices, buttered sides facing out.
- Place sandwich in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 4–5 minutes, flip, and cook for another 3–4 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
- Let rest 1 minute, then slice and serve.
Notes
- Mix cheese varieties for extra flavor and meltiness.
- Add extras like tomato, ham, or bacon for a twist.
- Use garlic butter or mayo instead of regular butter for added flavor.
- Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes to maintain crispness.
